Hannah’s debut book The Wealthy Divorcee – A step-by-step guide to navigating the finances during and after divorce, is due for release on 27th June 2013.
She wanted to address an issue that many women face when they are going through divorce, the terror of sorting out the money side of things.
Women often feel huge fear and uncertainty about money when they are facing divorce, especially if they haven’t dealt with the finances in the marriage. They commonly make financial decisions based on emotion rather than logic, which is detrimental to their future security. There is also a fundamental lack of understanding of the importance of certain assets within the marriage, in particular pensions.
Hannah addresses all of these in her book, which is a complete guide to all a woman needs to know to understand and manage the finances during and after divorce. She covers everything from what needs to be done immediately after separation, to creating a budget, buying a house, understanding the pensions and investments and much, much more. Her chatty, warm and friendly style makes a dry subject accessible and readable to all.
