I woke up to an email from Dr Kim asking me to give him a call before I went to have my chemo, so I called him immediately. We had a yet another profound conversation, which has completely changed the way that I am viewing my chemo this morning.
He advised me to change the energy and frequency that I put around my chemo and instead of thinking of it as a poison entering my body that I must endure, to think of it as a healing light force. The chemo enters my body right by my heart and if I then think of it as healing light flooding my body with love it will change the frequency at which my body accepts it. This really made a lot of sense to me and so I meditated with that in my heart. I have a wonderful guided meditation by Brandon Bays, called the healing sands meditation and as I listened to that I imagined surrounding the cancer with love. I imagined the healing sands taking away the acidity in my body and the pain and grief that I have been carrying and leaving behind love and light. I imagined the chemo entering my body as a golden light. I now feel in a really peaceful place to start my chemo and as they start to administer it today, I will close my eyes and imagine it as a golden, healing life force entering my body. My period has also arrived this morning, which for me feels symbolic that my body is telling me that my fertility is here. I shall meditate on and imagine that my ovaries are being wrapped in love and protection.
For those of you have not heard of Brandon Bays, check out her book The Journey. She healed herself from a huge cancer in her abdomen by working on herself and finding peace with all of her pain from the past through forgiveness. She has done amazing work around the world with hundreds of thousands of people with her ‘Journey’ work. I attended one of her weekends about 18 months ago and it was amazing. She has an other worldliness about her but in a really down to earth New York kind of way, she is an amazing lady.
I am just having a power smoothie to give my body a kick of goodness before I go to hospital. I have managed to get the green one right this morning and it tastes nice rather than me forcing myself to drink it! I will therefore share this concoction..
Handful of kale, handful of spinach, 2 apples, 1 lemon, 2 thumbs of ginger, 1 small orange, 1 teaspoon of chia, handful of ice cubes, a glass and a half of coconut water. I have added into it a measure of Warrior Blend raw protein and amino acids, a heaped teaspoon of organic chlorella and a measure of Innate Renewal Greens.
So it is with a completely different spirit and mindset that I now prepare to leave for the hospital for my chemo. Thank you Dr Kim for your call this morning. I am ready……. x
